ABOUT YANAGI
Definition: willow tree; pleasure
1959: Born in Minneapolis of Nordic stock.
Graduated from University of Minnesota 1983.
Took the painting name "Yanagi".
First solo show Minneapolis 1984.
In the next decade lived and exhibited work in Oslo, Barcelona
and London.
Moved to Clonakilty in Ireland in 1995.
Commissioned by Guinness to paint three works for their
corporate collection.
Joined Oisin Arts, Dublin.
Exhibited widely in Ireland and the UK.
2003 was the jury´s selected artist at Inspired Art,
London.
Now one of the best-selling and most sought-after artists
working in Ireland, he has studios in both Ireland and Spain.
