EXHIBITIONS

Yanagi first began exhibiting his work in 1984 and in the following decade lived and worked in Minneapolis, Oslo, Barcelona and London. He moved to West Cork in 1995 and later had three enormously successful solo exhibitions (Temple Geometry, The Essence of Water and Passion) in Dublin. He now divides his time between West Cork and Malaga.

In the Summer of 2005, Yanagi held a 10 year retrospective in Clonakilty Co Cork. The show consisted of work all created during the period Yanagi has been resident in the West Cork town and to mark the event a special book called Decade was published. (Decade is shown in full on this site).

Yanagi´s most recent exhibition was in Santa Barbara in June 2009, which is located near his studio in Ojai, California.

During 2009 he has been working on three new collections of work “Rondures” and “Desire Paths” and "Abundance".
